We've been waiting for the event and it's about to happen! Porsche Carrera Cup France season starts this weekend!

It starts in Ledenon. In keeping with the best traditions of the French organizers, they take time to make us happy with the complete list of race participants. But there is one thing we can confirm: there will be the Porsche in Tsunami RT colours with the Ukrainian flag on the roof and the pilot from Odessa Oleksandr Gaidai driving.

O. Gaidai: "Ledenon is a very specific track. This is a track of experience. For the person who has been driving here a lot, every bush, every piece of the wall is an association, and the better the one remembers them, the better he or she drives. There is a blind turn in Ledenon that I still cannot pass correctrly. Sometimes it's difficult to believe that the turn goes to the right when I don't even see it. And I have to push the accelerator much earlier then I see the turn, and the speed there is not 20 km/h, but 220... After all, I haven't enough experience on the track yet."

We had to skip the Ledenon race last year: it coincided with the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy round. Nevertheless, we had the training session here in March, and Gaidai sets the maximum tasks for himself on the very first race.

One hour long free practices take place on Friday. In the morning of Saturday, at 8.50 (Paris time) the qualification before the first round of the race starts. (For those who forgot or not yet familiar with PCCF series rule, it's high time to read our related article).

The first race starts on Saturday, at 2 p.m.

Our Sunday will begin even earlier: the pilots will occupy the best places on the starting grid at 8.30 a.m., and at 11.50 a.m. all this order will be broken on the first meteres after the start.
