The second half of Dunlop 24h Dubai 2010 marathon signified with fantastic tensed battle of Ukrainian-German four Andrey Kruglik, Oleksandr Gayday, Michael Schratz and Arno Klasen to reach the Top-10.

The night adventures when the team had to replace Porsche 997 GT3 Cup back drives resulted with more than 40 minutes in boxes, and backthrow from its 10th down to 25th position. The situation went better after midnight – even at night time all drivers of Ukrainian team took stable lap times as 2.14-2.17, and in some moments they were able to drive faster than 2.12-2.13! By lap 15 Tsunami RT team took strong ground on P 13-th in overall.

When morning came they managed to work up the pace and that allowed Andrey Kruglik and Michael Schratz be faster than 2.10 for several times! Then another waste of time happened: the race reached its eighteenth hour when the team had to replace wasted break blocks on rear right – that cost extra five-six minutes at the pits.

The three final hours of the race became its culmination when marathon turns to crazy sprint or so-called lottery. At hour twenty-two of the race Tsunami RT drivers produced series of ultra fast laps and, considering problems accumulated by rivals, reached the Top-10 overall leaders! Moreover, with one hour remaining, the quartette of Gayday, Kruglik, Schratz and Klasen occupied P7!

Although the necessity to pit and final refuel with 20 minutes countdown to the checkered flag made Tsunami RT lose one position. The team’s race resulted with 8th place in overall and 6th in A6 class chart. The absolute winner of Dunlop 24h Dubai 2010 became IMSA Performance Matmut team, racing Porsche 997 GT3 RSR.
