Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo

Международная итальянская серия GT, в которой представлены почти все основные классы категории GT – от практически серийных GT4 до элитных GT2. Кроме того, в рамках Campionato Italiano GT существует также зачет дивизиона GT-Cup, в котором участники выступают на монокубковой технике (в основном, Porsche 997 GT3 Cup и Ferrari 430 Cup). Сами гонки носят спринтерский характер – протяженность одного заезда ограничена по формуле «48 минут + 1 круг».

В 2010 году пилоты Tsunami RT попробовали свои силы на трех этапах Campionato Italiano GT, причем в двух различных классах. В мае Александр Гайдай на Autodromo di Vallelunga в своей дебютной гонке завоевал очки в зачете GT-Cup. В июле Александр Гайдай и Алексей Басов стартовали на Mugello Circuit в зачете класса GT3 на автомобиле Porsche 997 GT3 Cup S (подготовленном GDL Racing), где завоевали 9 очков. В сентябре Алексей Басов и Андрей Круглик выступили Autodromo di Vallelunga уже в зачете GT-Cup на Porsche 997 GT3 Cup от GDL Racing.

Porsche Carrera Cup Italia

Один из монокубков марки Porsche, разыгрывающихся во многих странах и регионах (Германия, Франция, Италия, Великобритания, Скандинавия, Япония, Азия). Участники выступают на идентичных автомобилях Porsche 997 GT3 Cup, практически не различающихся по уровню подготовки - основное внимание уделяется работе с настройками гоночной техники.

В связи с переходом на новое поколение Porsche 997 GT3 Cup (3,8 л и 450 л.с. против прежних 3,6 л и 420 л.с.), в итальянской серии в 2010 году участники выступают в двух дивизионах - Gold (с техникой 2010 года) и Silver (с техникой 2008-2009 годов).

В 2010 году пилот Tsunami RT Александр Гайдай стартовал на отдельных этапах Porsche Carrera Cup Italia. В мае украинец на выездном этапе серии в чешском Брно дважды финишировал третьим в зачете дивизиона Silver, выступая на Porsche 997 GT3 Cup от итальянской команды GDL Racing. В сентябре Гайдай на новом Porsche (от Petricorse Motorsport) на трассе Autodromo di Vallelunga завоевал первые очки в абсолютном зачете серии и в зачете дивизиона Gold.

Ukrainian Touring Championship

For recent few years Ukrainian Touring Championship has been held on one track exclusively – Chayka raceway, located in the suburbs of Kiev. The weekend consists of four or five stages; each one includes one qualifying and two racing heats. The heats are usually held within two days. Along with open wheel “formulas” the series include touring cars whose participation is divided on to three major groups, depending on engine volume: up to 1500 cc, up to 1600 cc, and up to 2000 cc.

Tsunami RT debuted at Ukrainian Circle Championship in 2009. Odessa born Aleksander Gayday started his season with Lada 112 kit car, although after two stages changed for BMW 320i tuned in Germany. The season resulted for Gayday with brilliant for a rookie third place within the class, having won just one time. At 2099 Ukrainian Championship Tsunami RT was already listed in three categories. Aleksander Gayday and Alexey Basov obtained Champion titles at their car classes (Super-2000 and Touring Light accordingly) and Kirill Chmykh became vice Champion at Lada-1500 for a second time. Along with all above, Tsunami RT pilots won 14 victories in all three classes, that they took part in. Tsunami RT won the second place at teams overalls.

24H Dubai

One of the World’s youngest marathon 24H races – 24H Dubai first started in 2006 at Dubai Autodrome track. Although it is now being considered as one of the most popular car marathons, giving the leadership to only marathons leading Big Tree – Le Mans (France), Daytona (USA) and Nürburgring-Nordschleife (Germany). Along with 24H of Nürburgring, 24H Dubai major peculiarities are liberal technical regulations allowing crews of GT, Prototypes and traditional Touring categories.

Tsunami RT debuted 24H Dubai at 2009 with BMW 120d (tuned by famous German Schubert Motorsport). The crew consisted of Alexey Basov, Aleksander Gayday, Aleksander Zheludov, Igor Storchak and Mikhail Ukhov. Tsunami RT crew won in a champion style in D1 class at qualifying (diesel cars, engine volume up to 2 lt) and was leading its class race for almost 15 hours. Unfortunately, and due to the crash with one of the contestants, the team failed to accomplish the race – the team resulted with P4 of its class.

At 2010 Tsunami RT took part at 24H Dubai at highest class – A6 with Porsche 997 GT3 Cup, tuned by German Steam Racing. Ukrainian-German crew of Aleksander Gayday, Andrey Kruglik, Michael Schratz and Arno Klassen finished at P8 at overalls and P6 at A6 category. This result became the highest among Ukrainian pilots ever reached in the history of 24H marathon races (24H Nürburgring and 24H Dubai).

VLN - Veranstaltergemeinschaft Langstreckenpokal Nürburgring

German International endurance racing series which are being held on world’s largest regular track Nürburgring – Nordschleife. The event is officially held since 1977. Its major peculiarities – the most liberal technical regulations allowing almost any type of vehicle and any type of readiness, along with huge participants list (up to 200 teams competing).

Tsunami RT debuted at VLN series in 2009 and competed within three different classes (V5, V6 and CUP3). Alexey Basov, Aleksander Gayday, Andrey Kruglik, Mikhail Ukhov and Michael Schratz fought for the teams’ banner. The biggest race achievement was P 11 in overalls and P 3 at CUP3 (monoclass for Porsche 997 GT3 Cup).

5Hundred Cup - Fiat 500 Cup

Italian circle Cup: the participants drive sport Cup version of Fiat 500 (engine volume 1,4 liters with 120 hp). The series is mostly designed for young pilots and amateurs. 5Hundred Cup stages are being held practically on all major tracks of Italy: Monza, Mugello, Adria, Vallelunga, Imola.

At 2009, Tsunami RT pilot, 17-old Kharkov born Kirill Chmykh, took part at four final stages of 5Hundred Cup series. The Ukrainian successfully completed three of them by taking two podiums at Under 25 classification.

Ukrainian Rally Championship

Ukrainian Rally Championship had become the first racing series for Tsunami RT which was created in 2007. Thanking the fact that the tournament annually includes from five to seven stages in different parts of the country and on tracks with miscellaneous surface, Ukrainian Rally contest gives a good chance to vary car settings, master pacenote reading, gain necessary experience for the participants. The team’s first attempt for a success at Ukrainian Championship was only half successful. At A3, the crew of Igor Storchak and Irina Kolomeytseva got their Champion Title, although Tsunami RT was only at P3 at team overalls. The 2008 season has become much more successful – not only three rally crews took part, moreover – the wildcard owners Janis Vorobjevs and Anton Alen joined the team. Using mutual forces, the team won its Champion Title, enhanced by the driver’s titles in A3 class taken by Ruslan Kucher and Natalya Franchuk. Although, by the season finale, the teams program for Ukraine was cut down and its major targets were concentrated in favor of Russian Championship.

Russia Rally Open Championship

The Russian Rally Championship obtained its international status a few years ago, and, as the result, it attracts more attention of pilots and teams from both nearby and far away countries. Their peak influence revealed at 2009, whet major champion titles (almost at all nominations) had been gained by the foreigners.Tsunami RT brought all of its pilots to Russia Rally Open Championship in 2009. Although first serious steps of Ukrainian team has been taken back in 2008, when the crew of Aleksander Zheludov and Irina Kolomeytseva performed at both two national Championships: Russian and Ukrainian. Thus fighting by Protech M Sport (the crew has became the 2008 overall Russia Champion) and by Tsunami RT in Ukraine. At 2009 Tsunami RT finally switched to Russian Championship and gained success in all categories. Tsunami RT won the Team Championship even prematurely; Igor Storchak (who raced with four different co-drivers along the season) became Russia’s R2 Champion; the crew of Ruslan Kucher and Natalya Franchuk obtained third at R1; the duo of Aleksander Zheludov and Irina Kolomeytseva got the third place at Russia’s Championship overalls.

Italian Rally Championship - Campionato Italiano Rally

Italian Rally Championship is included in top five strongest European national rally championships. Last years it has obtained the Open Cup status, so foreign teams are allowed to fight for Campionato Italiano Rally points. At 2009 Aleksander Zheludov and Irina Kolomeytseva took part in two major gravel stages of Italian Championship (Rally San Marino и Rally Costa Smeralda) – to gain acquaintance with new racing vehicles of Super 2000 category. Russian-Ukrainian crew of Tsunami RT performed with Peugeot 207 S2000 at San Marino and with Skoda Fabia S2000 at Sardinia. The biggest success has been gained at Rally Costa Smeralda – P 9 at race overalls and P 5 at S2000 class – that performance brought 4 points in S2000 Italian Championship for Zheludov and Kolomeytseva.

Молодежный чемпионат мира

Cерия CIK-FIA U18 World Championship была учреждена в 2010 году и преследовала две основные задачи - снижение расходов на выступления и максимальное уравнивание шансов всех участников. В 2010 году соревнования проходили на следующих трассах: Вакерсдорф (Германия), Альканьис (Испания) и Валь д'Аржентон (Франция).

Технический регламент предусматривает использование упрощенных, унифицированных и максимального удешевленных шасси - по условиям тендера для производителей, его цена не должна превышать 2500 евро. Все шасси экипированы одинаковыми двигателями марки WKE. Для уравнивания шансов всех участников перед началом соревнований двигатели распределяются между пилотами по жребию.

Украинец Сергей Коваленко, выступающий при поддержке Tsunami RT, стал одним из первых участников нового чемпионата и стартовал на всех трех этапах. В Германии Коваленко выбыл после отборочных заездов; в Испании стал победителем утешительного финала; во Франции сумел преодолеть квалификационный барьер и выступил в глвном финале.

Чемпионаты Германии по картингу

В Германии основными являются два картинговых чемпионата - DMV Kart Championship, где представлены все основные классы (от детского Bambini A до взрослого KZ2), и Deutschen Kart Meisterschaft (DKM), многоуровневый чемпионат для участников основных классов (от KF3 до KZ2).

Украинец Сергей Коваленко в 2009-2010 годах выступил в обеих немецких картинговых сериях. В 2009 году Коваленко дебютировал в немецком картинге и завоевал 5 очков в зачете дивизиона DCKM (класс KF2). В 2010 году пилот молодежной программы Tsunami RT выступил в DMV Kart Championship, где с 68 очками занял 12 место в зачете класса KF2 - несмотря на то, что стартовал только на четырех этапах из семи.
